About HeatGridLA
A one-sentence introduction to the project goes here — what it is, who it serves, and why it matters.
Why This Exists
Filler text: during heat waves and wildfires, critical safety information is scattered across a dozen government websites, PDFs, and hotlines. Residents shouldn't have to cross-reference all of them to answer one simple question — am I at risk, and where can I get help? This project brings that answer into one place.
